DIY Framing
If you are on a budget and would like to frame your original art or art prints purchased online, you should know that high quality frames can be purchased at reasonable prices from stationary stores, art stores, superstores etc. You will then only need to cut the mat boards, to make the print fit the larger window area of the frame. Mat board is available in sheets of various colors, thicknesses and sizes from any art supplier. When choosing a wood frame, we would recommend that you seek for FSC certified frames or frames made with woods from environmentally sustainable sources, here is a list of woods, for more information visit www.fsc.org or www.greenpeace.org/usa/
